David Pace (*1987) studied applied computer sciences (B.Sc.) at the University of Cooperative Education Karlsruhe and music informatics (M.A.) at the University of Music Karlsruhe. In 2018, he received his PhD in music informatics. Since 2007, he is also employed as a software developer at SEEBURGER AG.

At the age of seven he received his first piano lessons and later learned to play guitars and drums autodidactically. He plays and sings in the rock band Acrimonic and was a member of the a capella group Stimmgelage. David also loves listening to music, especially on vinyl records.
