David Pace (*1987) studied applied computer sciences (B.Sc.) at the University of Cooperative Education Karlsruhe and music informatics (M.A.) at the University of Music Karlsruhe. In 2018, he received his PhD in music informatics. David works as lecturer at the university and is also employed as a software developer at SEEBURGER AG.

At the age of seven he received his first piano lessons and later learned to play guitars and drums autodidactically. He plays in several rock band projects and is a member of the a capella group Stimmgelage. He composes and arranges music for all the ensembles. David also loves listening to music, especially on vinyl records.
